Application
This podoscaner combines the function of 4 devices:
- 2D scanner with a photo of the sole of the feet
- 3D scanner for foot scanning under load and unloading
- 3D scanner of negatives (foot impressions in foam)
- videography with a laser level to assess the heel valgus / varus angle

At the same time, you can performautomatic or manual measurements of angles and axes, identifying and marking trigger points directly on the patient’s foot photo.
The results obtained under such conditions are of excellent quality. Computerized examination of the plantar side of the foot is a development and improvement of the known podoscopic examination.
The device works on the basis of a developed podoscopic method. In addition to the exact print (plantoconturograph), we obtain information about the spatial shape of the foot arch. This allows for a reliable assessment of the functional state of the foot.
